October 13, 2006

Eastman Kodak Company announced September 6th a new multi-year contract with Wal-Mart for digital photo kiosk equipment and consumables. The deal will add 2,000 Kodak Picture Kiosks to 1,000 Wal-Mart stores across the U.S. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

"This is proof that Kodak's digital innovation and understanding of the consumer is a distinct competitive advantage," said Nicki Zongrone, Kodak's Worldwide Kiosk General Manager and Vice President, Consumer Digital Imaging Group.

"Wal-Mart recognized the benefit of Kodak's modular, upgradeable and flexible kiosk platform to help their business grow and provide consumers with an easy way to get high quality digital prints in as little as four seconds."

According to Kodak, the G4 Picture Kiosk supports all popular digital media formats (e.g., memory cards, USB drives, CDs/DVDs), digital scanning, and wireless printing via Bluetooth and infrared technologies.

Kodak has more than 80,000 units installed at retail locations across the globe. For more information: www.kodak.com.
